Yeah, I was talking about the second half of the quote, the "I don't pretend I know things that I couldn't possibly" part.

I'm not religious in anyway. But, I do believe that there is a creator. Look at all the immacculate intricacies of nature, and the grandness of it; someone had to have designed it. I don't think the universe just "appeared."

However, I don't really believe there is a God that watches over us, or whatever Christians believe.

The face of a child can say a lot, especially the mouth part of the face.

Wakthesmak.. If you believe their is a creator, you would believe in God.. God doesnt have to be classified under one religion. So this doesnt have to be just considered the Christian God..

I have never been to deeply religious either. I have only been to church roughly 5 times.. And only once in the past 10 years..

God is a character made up by the ancient Hebrews in Egypt to give them hope, will to carry on. The Bible was then created to give others hope and then to give others power, as were all other forms of religious doctrines. There are NO facts to justify the Bible, the Quran, or anything else for that matter and their means. The only truth in this whole religious question is NOBODY knows if there is or there isn't, whether you believe in God or not you don't know for a fact that there is or isn't.

Religion is all a mind game.

P.S. btw when I mention God in the first sentence I am referring to the Christian God, as it were, however in the rest of the paragraph I am merely referring to it as a name for all the "Gods" people believe in around the world e.i. Confusious, Islam, Buddha, Hindhu ect ect ect.

I wish I was Greek or Roman, living back in the "God times". How fun would it have been to believe there was a God for partying and wine? I would have loved it. But then again, I probably wouldn't have bought into it.
