I chose somewhat disapprove. Mainly because he tried to control everything, and because of the fact as soon as he got to be a GM he stopped talking to one of the only people who liked him as a mortal, me. Also his little trivia's to give away rare items and exp were rediculous. Even in this arguement I am having with Mumblee I still think Mumblee is doing a better job, although I think he could do more dur ng the time he is on as well.

I still love you, Penny and Gothic.  You guys represent a time when Faldon was important to me.  A time when Faldon was more than a chat client, but an actual functioning game with more to do than kill dires.  A time when you could log on for hours because you had fun, friends and a full gaming experience rather than just addiction.

It was a good game back then, bar some widespread cheats and the eventuality of the Senate incident.  The game was probably more balanced, and in a sick way the economy worked because more people got what they wanted and there was more of a middle class last client.

I had fun on that game, but this Faldon has decayed into one plagued by lack of meaningful updates to the client, lag, bad delays for waiting for C time and general lack of new content (which hopefully will be fixed when the new map is done). 

This Faldon has decayed along with the care of its creators to deal with even the most basic problems, or even putting the server back up within a month.  There was a time on Faldon when you could walk in town without being PKed mindlessly by some high levels with illegally obtained items, a time when people had honour and respect for one another.  The players now are whining, stupid, immature and obnoxious on their best days and cheating, lying and thieving on their worst. 

At the start of this client there were respectable GMs like Wu, Spectre and well Zer himself.  Now all the good GMs have quit, the ones we have are corrupt, inept or just never on enough.  They have been replaced with people like Charm, who are just inept and too mentally immature to be GMs.  GMs like Crovax, Molson and Eric, who care(d) little for the game overall and barely logon to do anything but a few meaningless events.  GMs or Moderators like Gohma, Playskool, Herculies and others that are just flat out corrupt or abusive with their power in any manner they can possibly conceive.

Faldon has become nothing more than a time-consuming and addictive activity for me, and that is one of the main reasons I am leaving.  The playerbase has become unbearably annoying, and I've come to the conclusion I am unable to change the game in any positive or meaningful manner with the people I was forced to cooperate with, serve under or tolerate the character of. 

These are some of the reasons that I leave you all with a rather heavy sense of unaccomplishment as it relates to the new map.  But I feel the new map will never get done with my personal differences with Eric and Jared or Ron.  Even when it is, I fear it will be held back by argument and largely not all it can be. 

Even when it is out, the fundamental problems of the game remain and probably always will unless Zer decides to do massive fixes, wipe, both or some other solution.

I guess this is goodbye, I wish I had left a more meaningful legacy and done more to earn your respect.

It's been a damn good 4 years though, and even if I haven't made a difference, I've had a fun time and I will miss very few of you.

But to those I do miss, we can still communicate here on these forums.

you stalked me Bill... You and the other GMs dont let me take a step without making sure its recorded and you guys always seem to constantly warp to me for no reason....

i'll be talking.. and then WHAM Catbert warps to me then runs away.. I'll be dueling and then BLAM!! Crovmon pops up on me and runs away.. I'll be exploring the map trying to see whats all changed and SLAM Mumblee warps to me and then runs away...

However Mumblee always seems lost when he isnt in town which makes me think he just warps to people so he can get back into town...

While I DO often do that, I also warp to you when i'm doing my "rounds".  Basically, when i'm logged on, I warp to every single person to make sure they aren't doing something they shouldn't be.

If you translate that trash into some coherent form, I will bother typing a more meaningful reply.

Fine Bill, Noone likes you. I think you're sucking up or trying to be nicer because you know a lot of people dont like you. That simple. If Each faldonite could vote once if you were GM or not, I ASSURE you that you would not be GM anymore, maybe Mod, you were a decent mod. But as  a GM  I havent heard one good thing about it.

They even warp to respectable players like me Who've never been jailed.
