Even though I dont usually like anything American on wheels, even if it's old.. I have to admit that car looks totally awesome. 
If you go for that you should definitely get the chrome too. ^_^

That is a truly classic car. Make the trade. Even if you don't want the car, you can sell it to a car collector for a good amount of money; easily enough to buy any new car that you do want.

the car looks neat, but unless you have alot of time and even more money to commit to upkeeping it, i would suggest a later model car....

Actually, the car a currently drive is a more sought-after vehicle, which is why this fellow wants to make the trade in the first place. But thanks for the advice.
