He can talk about it, but he brings it up in a way that makes him appear favorable, and the entire convention focused on his "strong leadership".  He was bringing it up as a campaign issue, which frankly makes me angry.  The way we combat terrorism is an issue, not the day itself.

He frequently makes emotional rather than policy references to it, and clearly was using it for a purpose of demagoguery.

That's the way you see it, and you have a point.  But...

...that one single day changed the way we combat terrorism all together, due at least in part to Bush.  What you see as explotation of a terrible event, I see as expressing his views on that day, which lead to his decisions thereafter.

Eh...  Point of view.
