I'm not gonna flame you, Fireborn, you're already burned up. 
Seriously . . . closer than the Kerry/Bush debate (Cheney has a brain!) but I would hand this one to Edwards. He shut up Cheney on a couple issues like Gay marriage/rights and Cheney's voting record.
I think the undecided will be fairly split, but after the Kerry/Bush debate, and the fact that Edwards is more charismatic, and overall did better they will more strongly side with the Democrats- only time will tell.
Also, this just in! Political update is Moldville . . . .
So I told you about those moderates who were now leaning towards Kerry, and anyway I talked to my Uncle today. My uncle has been siding with Bush for a very long time, despite what most others in my family talk with him about. To make a long story short, after watching the debates, and other research he is now "probably" voting for Kerry.

That being said, you are full of shit, FB. Even a FOX poll has Edwards winning the debate. Not of debate viewers solely, but of THEIR OWN VISITORS. Of conservatives. Even your own brethren realize that Cheney = the pwned.

To that end, a CNN poll of their uses similarly finds Edwards winning. As did a Yahoo web survey. Unscientific, but Edwards margin of victory in most of them was well into double digits.
Republicans cannot debate, because that requires the facts to be on your side. When you declare war on reality, FB, it declares war back.

We won't know the "real poll results" (meaning scientifically conducted to represent a wider audience sampling than middle class internet news junkies and accounted for people who are known to have watched the debates) until later.
Either way, the Veeps don't matter. They have no real job, most people don't know who they are. History forgets them and they aren't the ones being voted for. So no matter who won, this is irrelevant to everything but political theatre.

I dont care about VP debates at all. Cheny(Chainsaw, as he is referred to on Father of the Pride ) and Edwards don't really make an impact on me whatsoever. Not in the debate forum anyways.
Interesting since I just voted 5 times on each poll to show that they are not legit. Second I flipped through every channel and EVERY panel.. Fox, NBC, AND CNN all handed the victory to Cheney.
NBC RIGHT after the Debate Ron Reagan said that it was a sad day that Cheney beat Edwards. Then another guy said I got in trouble for saying Bush lost, but Cheney obliterated Edwards.
CNN 90% of the anchors who were talkign about it said Cheney won.
Fox of course said Cheney won I shouldnt even mention that one since Fox is ""Extreme Right Winged""
Catbert.. Read the bottom of the polls.. it says this is not Scientific... We will see what the people say when its polled.. ABC should have one out Thursday.

Most stations are handing it to Cheney. However, this doesn't mean shit. The voters aren't going to pick apart each little clip and analyze it. They watch the debate and leave it with an overall impression- that impression, has been pro-Edwards.
Fireborn, obviously those polls are not scientific, only because it isn't certified and official. Who fucking cares? It is HUGELY leaning in Edwards' favor.
I'll trust the people over what a few floating heads on TV say anyday, FB. Polls are reliable (note that I did say they were unscientific and I am waiting for the real scientific polls that account for whether they watched the debate or not, only count them once and determine a broader audience) and pundits represent usually a network or a personal bias.
Or... you could just not vote, well i find Senator Edwards was taking more notes which was good (Couldn't see what he was writing Damn you stupid TV, but im just assuming it was notes.) Although Vice President Cheney looked a bit more prepared or it could be he was just arguing iwth what knowlage he had, he though seem to be prepared the media has seemed to Judge Kerry and Bush with alot of cover stories but you cant trust those back stabbing editors! In my opinion i think that Edwards put up a good debate and so did Cheney but then again what would i know

polls aren't panels and as of this morning at 7:30 when i was about to go to work all the new stations exept abc had edwards winning the debate poll-wise.....which i found interesting
this is why i found it interesting......
if this was a straight debate, like one you would have in high school forensics club or something to that nature, even i think cheaney won....cheaney is a master debater no doubt, he really handed liberman his ass four years ago.....
so edwards did better than i even expected and did hit on a few key points such as halliburton.....and cheaney definately lied a few times...one example being when he said we have 30 allies in this war....i do believe it is 24......but cheaney really slayed him with the not being in congress for votes comment....
that being said, the reason i think the public saw it differently would be that what edwards said resinated more with the public...most of all with the domestic issues....
so to sum it up, i think cheaney won the debate, but edwards made more of an impact on the american people.....not that it matters much since the vice presidential debates don't ussually cause any dramatic rise/drops in the polls.....have a nice day
