Jesus3:
Say there are three people. John, Sarah, and Bob.
When Sarah was just 5 years old, her older brother
John walked her to the store. They were going to get
her favorite candy at the time, Chicko Sticks. Oh! This
was a good day. After an hour long walk, they arrived
at the store, but oh no! John forgot his wallet. Poor
Sarah, her feet were sore and everything! All that walk
and no candy. Sarah began to cry, and the clerk asked
what was wrong. She told him, and he said aww, poor girl.
John said to her, "Come on Sarah, let's go, we can come
back another day." Sarah agreed, and they began to
walk home. After about 5 minutes, they saw a guy named
Bob. Of course they didn't know his name at the time. Bob
saw the sad girl, and asked what was wrong. He felt bad
after hearing their story, and gave the two kids 2 dollars.
Enough to buy 6 chicko sticks! More than they ever planned
to get!!!So, Sarah Joyfully began to run to the store. And
being her older brother, and responsible for Sarah, John
did too. They got there and purchased the candies. After
the long walk home, they only had two left. Sarah was happy
though, and thanked her big brother.
Now, another story:
Sarah a five year old girl was sitting on her couch watching
Mighty Max, people told her that was a guy show, but she
loved and watched it anyway. When it ended she was bored,
all that was on was Smurfs, she hated that show! So she
went to her big brother John's room. He asked her what
she needed. She said, "John... I am bored, will you take
me to the store to get some lemon drops?" He loved his
little sister, and didn't want to be mean like so many older
siblings can be, so he said, "Sure, just let me finish this
last problem real fast." She was so joyful, she ran to her
mom, and said, "Mommy. Mommy! mom.... MOM!! GUESS
WHAT!!!" Her mom asked, "What is it dear?" The child
responded, "John said that he would take me to the store
I am getting some lemon drops!!!" Her mom said, "That
is nice, tell me before you leave though." So, Sarah
went back to her brothers room, and waited patiently.
Finally, he finished, and they told their mom they were
going to go. So they began walking to the store. It was
a 30 minute walk one way, but was well worth to Sarah,
she could not get enough of those lemon drops. They
got to the store, and bought 6 bags! They each got three,
and both opened one for the ride home. While walking home
they were confronted by a man who they did not know. He
said to Sarah, "Hi little girl what is your name?" She answered,
and in return got his name too, Bob. John did not trust this guy
something about him was not right. John turned to Sarah and
said, "Sarah lets go." They began walking, the man said, "Wait!"
Sarah began to turn around, John grabbed her forcing her
to walk forward. The man came in front of them, and said
to John, "What is your problem?" John explained that he
had no problem, but that they needed to get home. The man
pushed John, and Sarah took two steps back. John said
to Bob, "Look I do not want trouble, I just want to get my
little sister home." The man demanded John give him money.
John told him he did not have money to give, that he spent
it all on the lemon drops. The man the demanded the lemon
candies, and John would not give them. He said that they
were for his sister, and that was not something he could
do. The man pushed the kid to the floor, and left. A car
was coming, the car smashed Sarah's brother John. He
was dead. Sarah was scared, and quite unsure of what
had happened. She began running, screaming! A police
officer later found her, and took her home. Her mother,
was VERY happy to see her home, after having heard about
her son, and assuming her daughter was lost.
The Sarah from the first story, will not remember what
happened on that day one month from then. She will
not remember the generous man, Bob.
The Sarah from the second story, will remember Bob,
and that day, for the rest of her life.
The reason I posted all this:
1)People will remember those that have harmed them.
Though it is very unlikely that they remember those that
did good for them once, or twice.
2)That shows that simply asking around will not necessarily
provide the GM's with information on which players are
"good people."
3)I am bored, and I like stories.
