I thought Faldon was dead?

I stopped playing just after they changed from some old client (I don't know the name...) and switched to the non-free system. My old char was called "Narteur", but I seriouly doubt anybody remembers it.

I remember the Attack Rating hack that was actually a password stealing trojan. Camping in the bandits cave and killing 50000 bandits just to get something with "of lost souls" on the end (it was green and it GLOWED). People making stone golems chase them all the way into the town centre.

Good times. I'm just re-downloading the client. Please tell me its not gone all crappy and new.

the playerbase has definately taken a turn for the worst as of late as well.  the char nartuer sounds familiar.....were we ever in the same guild or something?

Quite possibly. I can't remember the name now, but we _did_ have a guild hall. I used to hang with Monkfishdave, and some guy called Spooky.
