Re: Album Recomendations

the band, of course....

the drummer......what band did he play for? celtic frost? or was it like mayhem? it's been so long since i've listened to any of that....

He plays for alot of bands; Mayhem, Arcturus and Winds to name a few.

And why would you stop listening to that stuff?

Re: Album Recomendations

i don't know, it's just one of those things.....i just go through a LOT of musical phases really fast......so it's not that i no longer like the music, it's just that i find out about something that i never heard and i start getting into that......but fear not, i still have a special place in my heart for the death, speed, and doom metal......in fact, a couple of friends of mine are in a great doom metal band..... http://www.whereisvog.com/

Re: Album Recomendations

Hmm... I just downloaded a 'VOG' song and it's pretty upbeat for doom metal. Also, the clean vocals don't really sound 'doomish'... I prefer ultra-harsh funeral doom vocals.

Poem is from Welcome. I admit that I don't like that song either. However Blue Sky Research  is very good... but you have to broaden your music tastes some =p

Fuck you! Just because I don't like nu-metal it doesn't mean my music tastes are narrow. Besides the MANY metal genres I listen to, I listen to ambient, dark ambient, some neoclassical and some neofolk.
