I do that, when my comp or windows is not acting in the manner it ought to be acting and I cannot figure out why... lol.

For example when I couldnt get my DOS emulator to go fullscreen, cuz it kept alt+tabbing out of itself as soon as I tried to maximize it, took me half an hour... very frustrating... =p

But I got to play the Constructor, Wing Commander II and C&C on this machine, on the upside.
