Read Zer's post there. It will help you understand that names are tied
to too many things, rather than char ID's. This means that if you change
a name, you have troubles, because you can not easily change
EVERYTHIHNG.

Zer changed Zaphod to Valeria for me after Pawa changed my avatar from male to female one day.  He did it in early beta, somewhat reluctantly citing how it was tied to flags for quests and such....like I'd want another green stone lol...

There should be a name change NPC, or just add the name change function to the sex change NPC.

There should be a name change NPC, or just add the name change function to the sex change NPC.
