Topic: Patch Bypasser

I am bored, so I am going to post my patch bypasser. What makes it different
from others is that this is more than a patch bypasser. The program must
be placed in your Faldon directory. Once you load it, it will try to connect
to the server, if it fails, it will try the alternate port. If that fails, it will continue
trying until it gets some connection to Faldon. Once it has a connection, it
will launch the game connecting to whichever port is working. This all automated
all you must do is open the program (that is in your Faldon directory!) and it
will launch Faldon as soon as a connection to the server is available.

For those of you that may be lacking the file:

MSWINSCK.OCX

It can either go with the program in your Faldon directory, or
in your windows system directory.

Edit: haha... typing the file name doesn't attach it....

No, that is not true at all. See, sure anyone can just create a shortcut, but this
does more than bypass.. It also finds which port is working, and launches
immediately. This means if just one port goes down, it will still launch, also
if you are busy with other things, you can run it and as soon as Faldon
is back up it will run.

Spectre's Bypasser which I use is also an executable. Though I believe that the functionality of that is just that it's supposed not to get outdated unlike shortcuts which sometimes need to be adjusted if the code/string or whatever changes. Ah well, at this point a shortcut would work just as well as that does. Guess Tim's feature of alternate ports is handy. Just wonder... would it bother server if it is down and everything is continuously trying to get in with that thing of yours and suddenly it goes back up and 30 ppl connect simultaneously? smile

The server should have no problems with this at all.
