Well currently my computer is on a LAN connection through the uni, so far its going good other then I can only use programs that accept proxy options. Im wondering if theres a way playing online games i.e. faldon without these options?
You have just asked a very confusing question. Are you saying that you are
connecting through a proxy?

Well.. have you tried Faldon? I would assume since it works using winsock, it would
gather the information from Internet Explorer. Then if your proxy server allows the
port to load, Faldon should too.
Of course Ive tryed, the patcher says 'patch.dat' was not found (407).
Using the patch bypasser just has a black screen then crashes.
Ok found the program I needed (proxycap), the problem is that the firewall at uni blocks the main web site, and im not sure how to use the program. But Im getting close. The patcher error, for faldon, changed to "Connection failed".
I have nearlly solved my problem after many hours of searching, it seems I need 2 programs proxycap (http://proxylabs.netwu.com/) and your freedom (www.your-freedom.net), now I just need to work out what settings need to be changed... if anyone knows about using these 2 programs please tell.

Well currently I have no idea what im doing, I followed what some notes they had- connecting your freedom and runing faldon with proxycap through the localhost on port 1080, but still not luck....
download your brain into the computer and take over the internet.
Even I know that and it hasn't even been proven that I have a fully functional brain since I uploaded by brain into my computer so I could play Doom "the cool way".
