Ok obviously you are what 13....because many of those movies are classified as "Cult Classics" and are probably before your time...

You know how some movies are so bad they're funny? Yeah, this one reaches that stage, but then it surprasses it and stops being funny again.

And regardless of the fact that these are cult classics, they still suck major ass.
For example, Evil Dead sucks, but Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness are fun to watch.

Actually, several of the movies on there I have only watched because they had been Mystery Science Theatred...
And the others? yea gods man... I watched Evil Dead because I loved AOD so much, and I wanted to see where it all started... but man, that is just wrong.
Doom I watched because I'm a Doom Junkie, but afterwards I wound up playing Doom with the DVD, if you know what I mean.
And plan 9 is the worst movie ever made. That's just the general consensus.
What exactly was wrong with Doom? What didn't you like about it? I thought it had a decent story, good action, and a GREAT game-scene.

Hard Rain was a really shitty movie probably the worst movie in exsistance.
The Locals was a really shit movie as well.
Garfield movie was really crap too, u cant bring a comic strip classic like that into movie and make the cat so much crapper. What were they thinking.
Oh oh.. Fantasy Mission Force - a must see.. they manage to incorporate Amazons, Japanese Nazis, zombies, ghosts and more

Just when compared to a movie such as Resident Evil...it sucked.
Ok let me try and run through it..
The rock goes from everyones best friend to Psycho in a blink of an eye...wtf what brought this on.
Any fights with the monsters happened in pitch black darkness and u only caught a brief glimpse of them.
Apart from the Fight scene with the Black guy in the Pit....the rest where far to brief.
The "Game View" was interesting but was a bit dissapointing it only came on near the end of the movie.
Overall i just think it was a big dissapointment.
Oh and Oman....I do apologise....Evil Dead Sucked the proverbial Nuts.....but Army of Darkness kicked ass.
p.s. Reveange of the Nerds is an awesome movie....dont deny it...Embrace it.
Heh what would have been a big disappointment is if they would have done
more of the movie in such a view. It was cool to see, but would have got
annoying if it were all over the place. And as far as character attitudes, it
all made plenty of sense to me.

Playing the game, then watching the movie kinda ruined it for me. I wanted to see satan get his ass kicked, plus the rock's character seemed schitzo.

Most game-inspired movies are doomed to fail, I do not believe Command & Conquer or Zelda would be any different. Hollywood format movies/storylines are just not compatible with those of games. The best results are probably achieved when a movie does not try to copy the game, but rather adds a bit to it. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children for example is set like 2 years after the events of the game, and only spans one or two days worth of events rather than trying to encompass the entire game in 1 movie. But I guess that it's still rather risky then. =P
That reminds me, they made a movie of Outcast didn't they? Man, I loved that game =p I'm afraid the movie will suck though ;p

You never know though.. I loved South Park the movie, maybe the Simpsons movie can be good... but It is hard to see the Simpsons as a movie =/
Southpark was Great because it was an actual Movie....too many cartoon movies seem to be just 2 hour episodes rather than a real movie
