Dont worry about Oman and Someone_At_Nothing.......Sometimes they just have these Lovers quarrels.

Lotta Sexual Tension there.... tongue

I'm opening up a shop that sells 13" rulers just so Fireborn stops complaining.

All the people with high paying jobs. Go back to finger painting.

Maybe some slight unjustified stereotyping there and i dont really think someone_at_nothing literally meant "no-one" reads, but more likely was pointing out with a large increase in other media types books reading may be on the decline.

Other than that i would like to point out that if only people with high paid jobs could read how many people do you think would be on this forum because people are replying to messages so everyone registered "reads"(other than mophead) j/k

You fail to make a single valid point with regards to the posts preceding yours. OUCH.

Re: Slednecks 8

Oman said only people with high paid jobs can read i disproved it

pretty relevant id say

Re: Slednecks 8

no i agree your post was pretty invalid.

And plenty of people read, reading a book is quite often better than watching a movie.

Name one movie that you havent been disapointed with that was made after the book was written?

The closest movie i can think of is the power of one, that was well done but they still missed out on alot of important details.

Tell me, from what sleeve exactly did you pull the word 'only'? It's very nice and everything to disprove something, but if the thing you disprove does not correspond to the statement it is in response to, I'd definitely say it has little relevancy. =P

Huge Tornado, Crovax is correct. You have made the mistake that many
people make in mathematics. He said that all the high-paid people read,
he never said that those who are not highly paid do not read.

Actually you are right. There are a shitload of idiots in high places... Mayor Dayley of Chicago, for one. Read some of the bullshit he's putting this city through. I'd strangle the fat fucker, but that wouldn't be being fair. I wouldn't be able to get my hands around his neck.

*ahem* anyways... idiocy is everywhere. I agree with that wholly.

It is high time I put something intelligent here.

Having read it again that is true but if someone says "who the fuck reads" and you resond "all the high paid people" to me thats implying that low payed people do not otherwise he'd of just said well lots of people read.

to me the amount people read depends on how much free time they have and whether they enjoy reading books.

And if you want high paid idiots in high placed look at the president of america.

Well, to ME it's implying that those who do not read are generally not high paid.

You turned the thing around. =P

Perfect example of why you should refrain from inferring.

really though you have to infer what people are trying to say over the internet as you cant always be sure how a comment is meant.

I read the scrolling text in WoW. Good Book, however I wonder how something with so many gramattical and spelling errors got published.

Modern cyberspace is a deadly festering swamp, teeming with dangerous programs such as''licensed Microsoft software'' that can take over your computer and render it useless.
