Topic: Trivia this Saturday

As promised...

As a service to this who participate in the Faldon community not only through Faldon itself but also on the message boards, I am announcing the following:

On Saturday the 25th at 6 PM (GMT +1, that is noon EST) I will hold a trivia (first with 10 points wins) with questions from these 3 categories:

The Great War (World War I)
World War II
Nuclear Technology (partially in the context of World War II)

The price should be something nice, I haven't quite decided yet. Perhaps something related to the new map? ^^ I'll try make it worthwhile without going overboard.

Anyhow, for those who wanna rock the trivia (for the honor, for the prize or to annoy others), please do go ahead and read up on these things. Faldon and Trivia both upgraded (and combined) from pointless (but amusing) waste of time to mechanism promoting historical knowledge and cultural awareness, oh joy. smile

Haha, anyhow, for those who seriously want to read up (regardless of whether you care about the Faldon Trivia, it is self-improvement anyway) I would like to remind all that wikipedia is your friend. smile

Plus teamspeack works on a lower frequency to that of the average Faldon players voice. So all you would hear is a high pitched whine.

I'm opening up a shop that sells 13" rulers just so Fireborn stops complaining.

meh, I've got a bass voice, apparently. It'd rather that it be a tad higher, ah well. =P

Congratulations to Marlborough for winning the trivia!

(He got to 10 out of the 25 correctly answered questions. And just to give you an idea of how much he pwned y'all, the number 2 had 3 points, lol. There were 12 people who scored points by the time the trivia had come to an end.)

I hadn't expected however that noone would know stuff like in what year WW i started =p

I dont want the damn Tokens Crov! I am P and they wont go into my Bank! You should hold trivia again.. This time at a better time.. I was only able to stay for 8 questions ... and that fucking Canadian is too fast of a typer grrr..
