Topic: Bragging rights

Let us survey then just how stupid our forum-visitors are. =P

Considering you all know how to use a computer and are generally actually somewhat proficient too, chances are our average will be above 100, I'd guess around 110-120. (Though, prolly somewhat higher if we have some cheaters/liars, heh)

Please be honest though, heh. Even if browen scores 80, and Oman scores 160, we still all know the truth don't we? ;-) What I'm saying is respect (or succes for that matter) does not derive from silly test result. smile

Anyhow, the test does take around 20 minutes, please do not bother to post if you do not have the patience to complete the test.

Also I would like to ask not to reply in the poll with your score in another test, and only to mention other scores in your posts as a complement to your score in this particular test. (For example, you could say: "I scored 120 here... but on several other tests I scored 130, so i feel this is somewhat below me.") Because scores between tests can vary quite a bit, the discrepancy between the highest score I ever got on an iq test and lowest score is actually 23 points, so a score in 1 test is not representative for the score one would achieve in another.

Anyhow, have fun! smile

I scored 141 btw. In my defense though, English is not my native language, I did miss a question on vocabulary. =P

Ever heard of mentally disturbed? NO ONE does that for fun. After the first question I realized it was going to be MATH and I was like; Hell no, even my husband aint worth this much.

I took a year of from school for a reason, and it wasnt to be harrassed by this shit smile. Lets go by your suggestion of my IQ, I married you so it cant be much higher xD

Re: Bragging rights

Oh God browen, I love you so. It's times like these I remember why I married you in the first place. ^_^

(Well, that and the sex. The sex is good too. Can't deny that.)

We all know who has the more valuable skills in life though ;-) I mean look at the sheer amount of cheats/abuses etc. found and succesfully exploited by FB. That also says plenty about how crafty and smart you are. (And evil <3)

I wonder if the last few questions of:

Are you Male or Female?
What is your age?
Whats your name?

and of course...

Whats your email address?

Re: Bragging rights

Was prolly high cuz you are 12 =p

Haha, nah seriously. 147, you prolly got 1 wrong then, am I right?

But considering it caps out at 150 points it must get less and less accurate with higher scores.

I've no idea how high it goes but yeah, 150 sounds like a nice round number

I've managed to lose like 25 points from my iq woot!

Complex Intellectual
People who are Complex Intellectuals are highly intelligent and have extraordinarily strong verbal and math skills. Compared to others they are highly conceptual and complex thinkers and are able to understand information in an abstract form. They also show great attention to detail. In fact, it's hard to find something they're not good at.

Yeah right. So if at 125 IQ It's hard to find something I'm not good at,then Stephen Hawking must be great at everything... Like walking.

Modern cyberspace is a deadly festering swamp, teeming with dangerous programs such as''licensed Microsoft software'' that can take over your computer and render it useless.

If it is anything like other IQ tests those questions DO affect the results.  I believe both Female/male and age make a difference.

Haha, nah seriously. 147, you prolly got 1 wrong then, am I right?

But considering it caps out at 150 points it must get less and less accurate with higher scores.

If it caps out at 150, why do you have a category for 151+, and why are there two people who claim to have recieved scores in that category?

1. Because Im not 100% sure about it capping out there, though I reckon it's highly likely. Considering the relation between scores and number of mistakes, they cant exactly let 1 mistake make a difference greater than 10 IQ points on the results, lol.
2. Because at the time of making the poll I hadnt thought of it yet.

And the 2 ppl claiming to be in that category havent said anything of use in the thread, so they prolly answered without taking the test.

Re: Bragging rights

141 for what it's worth.

I don't know that I believe IQ tests.  I've read a few things that suggest they are flawed.  If it is true, that puts a number of us in genius category.  I dunno about the rest of you, but I don't feel like a genius.  Thus, the test is flawed. smile

Re: Bragging rights

math is not my thing. 110.

there are other I.Q. tests out there that don't involve so much freaking math. I've scored higher, and this is why I believe that there is no such thing as a constant IQ, as I've had scores ranging from 95 to 136. So I'm not too disapointed.

It is high time I put something intelligent here.

Re: Bragging rights

105, which is pretty good since last time i took one i got 72, which would roughly be the iq of a damp sponge.
