I have been reading a lot of posts here and I notice a lot of hostility towards America. What do you guys think?

Or did you completely word that wrong? I am very confused at what you
meant, perhaps putting it into a sentence would do some good.
Did you mean that we practice blasphemy? If so, how do you come to that
belief? I have never heard such a thing, and really don't see it being true
at all.

There was a great southpark bit that ill try and find.
It was in the episode where the boys go to Afghanistan to return a goat.
The afghani kids say something like:
"The reason everyone hates America, is because America doesnt realise everyone hates them"
It boils down to the Stereotype of American Ignorance.
Ignorance to other peoples cultures and Ignorance to anything non American.

No its about knowing and learning about other country's.
Acknowledging their existance in the world, learning their culture etc.
It just seems like every American i meet is extremely narrow minded and oblivious to the rest of the world. I know you are not all like this..but like the saying goes..Majority Rules and that is how it seems.
I had some guy argue me once that the reason the troops are in Iraq are because they blew up the world trade centre.....while an educated person would know it was the Afghani's that did that....Nay...One band of extremists led by a ruthless leader (sound familiar)...but The whole country is under attack and every arab is a terrorist.

If every American you have met has been Narrow Minded then you haven't met many Americans I take it. If you are meeting these American's in Australia then right there is show they are taking in other cultures. Now if you are meeting these American's on Faldon that is completely different, most Faldon Players are morons. Also the entire country of Afghanistan is and was never not under attack. It does however show the ignorance of those with that belief, we didn't fight the Afghan army, we fought the Taliban army. Infact we did much of our fighting along side Afghan rebel groups who were fighting to take the Taliban out of power.

Hooka, you are just some moron who wants to be a rebel and can't see the difficulties of having a perfert government with zero problems. Sure some parts of the American government are corrupt but we are much better off than others. It's fools like you who display their ignorance for all to see that give Americans a bad name. If we can't put some trust and confidence into our government then how can we be a successful country? Just because we try to support our government doesn't mean we're sheep simply following the flock, but means we want to get involved so that we can help our government grow into something better with less corruption. Of course nothing can survive without corruption when it has so little support from its people.

It's your inability to accept that maybe your not the greatest country in the world that most international people dislike.
And in response to America's religion and swearing on the bible...aren't the famous words "In God we Trust"....says it all pretty much right there.
The truth of the matter is you are a country with high wealth and large military power, yet have high poverty, low minimum wage, huge % of incarcerated population, high crime and a poor healthcare & government funded schooling system.
This is all hidden though by the size of the United States, the Major Powers overshadow the everyday man.
