Have any of the accounts/characters on Faldon ever really been hacked? Not counting keylogged, that is more of an extension to social engineering and deceit.
Tim claims that it hasn't, but I personally know that it has happened, and I am not saying it happened to ME either :twisted:
What method could have possibley been to to hack someone? Finding an ip address, guessing and admin password, mapping a network drive accross the internet, searching for stored passwords or emails?

associated with their accounts, and have accounts such as Hotmail broken
into. Nobody however, has hacked into Faldon. Keep your ifnormation
safe, and you are safe.
That was the point I was trying to make. Your level of security from Faldon "hackers" is directly proportional the your ability to keep your information to yourself.

Im a perfect example of someone who has never had a compromised account because i simply never let myself become a victim.
Hell..i wrote a guide...people didnt follow one of the rules..then bitched when they got their items/account stolen.
My account has never been touched even though I have had many threats saying that they would hack my account. Good luck, my account would be well worth the trouble.

Incoherency aside, he was simply stating: How did Senate get the password list last client if he did not hack into the faldon server files.
It wasn't that hard to translate. I am surprised somebody with your infinite amount of "knowledge" could not decipher that.

The answer to that is simple....Senate got the pfiles when Coma had given the server files to someone, cyborg, I think, under the pretense that he would host the game server.

I wasn't around, I don't know, I would guess Pennywise has got it right. If someone were to hack the server though, they would take my char before any of yours. So, for someone to hack the server and take your level 100 character (generalization) is not likely. They could instead take my char, build a level 600, 700, 800, 900, etc.. They could give it all spells, all skills, they could make weapons, armor, etc.
