First I'd like to apologize for all the questions, but I have not been able to find answers anywhere else. I think my questions are winding down now that there's not much new stuff left for me to do.

Farming... does it matter where I plant it?
And just as a pre-question before I try it out... do I have to go to different areas to mine different things, and which places can be mined?
You can mine anything, anywhere, and you can farm anything anywhere.
I thought mining only worked where they was ore?
Well of course, you need to mine at a mining patch, what I meant is that it doesn't matter where that patch is, they all give the same things. There is no need to go from mine A to mine B to get item C . . . .
Is it actually possible to make money off blacksmithing or goldsmithing? It seems most of the stuff cannot be sold to NPCs, and selling to other players would work but the market seems flooded. So what's the real benefit to these skills?

There is no real use for them since things like gold plates and full plates only sell for like 75gold. You could raise them to make your own armours and such, but its not really useful.
The only thing you need them for is to repair armors/weaps etc.
Farming location doesn't matter, but for what it's worth things grow better without tending when it's raining.
