Re: Pets!!!

You get pets by raising your tame skill or buying them from other players that can tame them. So... Yes, there are pets wink

Re: Pets!!!

There is a skill in your skill tab called Animal Taming. This skill will allow you to tame animals. You must first however, raise the skill. You start by taming small things such as mice and snakes. You can move up from there to larger things like dogs, wolves, dragons, etc...

Re: Pets!!!

I recently tried using pets.  2 problems.  When moving baby dragons, they sometimes get stuck inside the cave.  I've tried twice, the first time I had no problem, the second time I couldn't get them to leave.  I'm not sure if that problem exists with other types of pets.  The other problem is they seem to steal my kills all the time.  "pets stop" only works for maybe a second.  I guess I could try to find a high hp, low damage creature...

Re: Pets!!!

Pets have trouble moving across maps. This is a known problem, and something you just have to deal with. As for them stealing, this is one down-side to using pets. Pets stop only works for a second because once the pet is hit, it is once again attacked.

Hm, it used to be a "pet bug", not sure if it still is. You tame a pet, and then summon other pets, like wolfs. Then open a Town portal, and walk trough. This used to work, test it.

Well once I raise my spells I'll probably start keeping pets in the zoo.  Currently I just tame a new one each time I play. As for as the steal killing, I've mostly eliminated that problem.  With Tareim's paster program I can copy "s pets stop<enter>", then just keep pounding on the "v" key when the enemy gets close to 0 hp.  Now my pets only steal my kill once in a great while.  Thanx Tam!
