Re: oldschoolers, i mean it now.

If you ask each individual player which GMs are corrupt, you will likely hear every GM name. When these players believe this, they begin to spread rumors. Sometimes these rumors carry, other times, they don't. My point, he is probably basing his judgment on what others have said and not on what he has experienced.

Were those the real lumberjack and Erdrick? I remember those names, heh been 7 years though, lets see what I still remember. Erdrick was a mage ard lvl 100 iirc wearing one of them plainlooking blue mage robes tho it prolly had pre/suf. And smokey if Im not mistakenwas a 80-something warrior wearing a bear mask, and I think (not sure) dragonmail. And a katana, remember I was so impressed he had 2 katanas. Not that katanas were anything special, only cost like 6k iirc, but for my sorry poor ass, it was quite a weapon to own. Lumberjack... all I remember there is his attitude and I do believe he had eyes of the sun (gloves) am I correct?

Mr. Moogle gave me Erdrick's NPC Eagle Vision on desert when I was only a few week old newbie on Eladamri. smile Mr. Moogle was my first friend in Faldon, heh. Sadly ive never heard of him since he gave me the NPC and quit. I do know he had access to Smokey and Erdrick though, Erdrick, was that you and if not, do you perchance remember who had access to Smokey and Erdrick in the spring of 2000?

Ah well, heh. Mumbleej00 drops in now and then if you didnt know btw, and pennywise.

Hi,

Yeah, I did play those characters back then.  Figures, took me 3 months to reply, but then again this is 7 years ago. Maybe longer, I still remember the older church map.  Your memory is far better than mine.  I remember Mr Moogle, though I unfortunately did not keep in touch with him.  I did have a few NPC's on the desert map, one a vendor and the other a farmer, the latter very convenient.  Smokey had a bear mask (Smokey the Bear) and a very slow but powerful sword (Griffins Blade?) and Erdrick wore a plain but unusual green robe, a gift from a demigod.  I have some screenshots of the old days saved somewhere, I'll try to dig them out one day.

I did briefly play the newest version, but have not set foot in the realm of Faldon in some years.  Nice to see some of the old names.

Erdrick
