They are called raids in other games...
A mob who is tough enough that it will take a group of people... There are many ways to designate the toughness of a mob, through either graphical representation over their head, or you could even have it say so in the animal lore of the mob. These mobs could be for special events, where multiple groups could be formed, they could be set to auto spawn once a week, or every 5 days, etc... But the rewards for said mobs would be nice... Now in faldon this could be tough, as people would ninja loot, attack the mob while you were, etc... But, there are work arounds, locking mob encounters, making the mob be in an instanced zone, which has reuse timers set to it (so the people who complete it cannot come back for 5 days, 7 days, whichever.
As I understand it, the game is currently being re-coded, maybe, a set group size/raid size could be determined. Though faldon doesn't have the population that most games do for fielding a raid, I think that maybe a group cap could be 4 people, and maybe it is time to set some sort of class guidelines in the game. Sure, it is nice to build your character completely as you wish, but, it would also be nice to give certain buffs to people who determine which archtype they would like to be...
