Topic: How do you guys expect to revive Faldon?

Hi,

So, there was I today searching for a game to play and I found FALDON!!! I had tried to play it years before, but at the time my 56k connection just made it impossible. And I remember having liked it a lot and seeing lot of people playing.

I installed it a few hours ago and tried to play it. But, there were not enough information for beginners, only 16 people online and the ones online wouldn't even talk to me. And the funny thing is,  I saw some talking about getting more people to play! -_-

I couldn't get past the beginning and thought the whole game was dead and lacking support.

Well, I think it would be helpful to you programmers and players to know what it feels like starting in Faldon. No wonder people won't play it. In my opinion, if you would enhance the main website, add more guides for begineers, treat newcomers better...,etc it might give you a nice playerbase.

You seriously think the gms would read this?  Ill tell you what the gms are doing to revive faldon.  They're map editing, because map editing is gonna bring all the original players back.  According to the gms, we dont need drop rates, we dont need more spawns, we dont need new items, we dont need anything thats going to actually help the players, we need Mountains with cutting edge fucking technology.  I guess if we have better looking maps, (even the maps have reamained the same for years) we will have an increase in drop rates, better chances at lvling, etc.  A message to lakitu, alumet; zammbi, FUCKING DO SOMETHING WORTH WHILE AND STOP FUCKING WITH THE GODDAMN FUCKING MAPS YOU DUMB FUCK NIGGERS.

This is cannot be revived unless old players come back...but i doubt it..

I'd say the latest updates are a good start towards getting people to stick around or come back.  The ability to script more in-depth quests will give grinding more meaning if they make good use of it.  It's got me interested again for sure.
