Windows 7 isn't that compatiple. (? Spelling) With Faldon.... Took me a while to get a solution.

Win 7 has XP compatibility mode right?

No not compatibility mode. And no one here has a new comp so I'm going to be lazy and end my post here.

If you turn off hardware acceleration it'll likely work.
New client doesn't have these problems with Vista etc.

Hmm, maybe you could post a status report on how far along the new client is. Players have been geting told things will be better in new client for years now but it's still not finished so a lot of them doubt it'll ever be released.
It would perhaps be nice if you could post an update on progress of things every now and then so everyone knows you are still working on stuff.
And what's the status on the new server box? Current one has been doing some weird things, like it changed <insertname> to <insertn`me> and Berethorn walks around naked without a skill title even though he does have a title and equipment.

I have no issues running faldon under Windows 7 natively on a standard setup... e.g. hardware acceleration, full visual effects any issue experienced is probably down to video drivers

For the info, I have no issues running Faldon in Windows 7 either - just run as Administrator and it runs full 100%.
