i agree with RP on this, Hit Cap is stupid, also not fair that bows dont have it but melee weaps do, you shudnt be restricted to hitting lower leveled players for less, if thats the case, then why level and PK? why not just make low char and pk all the higher wars 

The idea that leveling simply allows you to gank low level players runs completely counter to the goal of making an MMO in 2010 that actually attracts new players.  You could get away with making a game like this 10+ years ago, but people don't want to play games like that anymore.

The vast majority of people PK in MMOs because it's usually based on the players being on semi equal ground, where the winner is determined by skill, gear choice and stat choice.  Unfortunately, it seems that a large portion of the population of this game is content to support changes that further tip the balance in favor of vets; preferring to stroke their epeens at the cost of driving away new and old players.

In my opinion, leveling should be a method to get through content tiers.  Creating a leveling system where the main reward is the ability to harass and kill low level players is an antiquated game design at best.  I'd love to see this game move forward and completely revamp the rules of pvp all together.

Royal Pain wants the hit cap removed so that he can make the lives of new players - people who have no interest in trying to fight him - miserable.

Basically, he wants the ability to instantly kill someone for no reason, with that person having no way out of it.

And somehow he thinks this will make the game better.
