Wireless Card Connection Issue

This has never been an issue before, I use an AT&T 3g WiFi card sometimes while I'm away from "real" internet. I however can't seem to get past the Faldon Updater. I just give me the,

Checking for updates...
Connection failed.

Errors occured during patching.

Now, I tried the test server just to see if bypassing that was the issue.

I can log into the test server Just Fine.

I figured ok, I'll just use the patch bypasser.

For some reason, I'm having no luck, just keeps "trying on XXXX(X)" ports over and over, and just says "failure on XXXX(X)"

Am I missing something here? or is the main server just down?
