I can understand the argument that it would be a conflict of interest for a GM to sell items, especially given the fact that there have been issues with it in the past. With that said...

I completely fail to see what this argument is trying to accomplish. GMs don't get involved in tranactions[sic] because they obviously have no real way to monitor them. It's physically impossible to monitor in game items for real world money transactions and have it work out 100% of the time. In my opinion, this game should follow suit with the vast majority of MMOs and completely ban the sale of virtual goods by other players. It always causes more harm than good.

I don't know these people at all other than a brief stint I had in their guild a few years ago, however, it doesn't seem beyond belief that one of the highest level players in the game is also the richest considering that almost any item of value is brought into the game world through grinding endless monsters.
When you come to a message board and throw around accusations based on zero evidence whatsoever, I honestly wouldn't expect much in the way of results.
