Yep, Mr Spy read the chat logs and said that he "pushed you at the wrong time" and he was "undermining your authority".  Neither of which is a violation of the ToS, and certainly not worthy of punishment.

So, what we're saying here is:  you abused your mute powers, and Mr Spy is on the record as clearly condoning corruption in this case.

Okay on a serious note. You need to get over it. By what I'm seeing she had the right to mute you. You were being inappropriate by trying to insult her because of her language and spelling. Just because she is young and she doesn't type completely proper on an online RPG doesn't mean that she is bipolar? If you're saying she's bipolar due to the fact that her spelling isn't proper but is internet slang, well then basically you're wrong. I'm not here to pick sides but by the looks of things you're trying to get her chat mod taken away. As far as I'm concerned she is one of the most appropriate people to have the job as chat mod. If Zer or Wu [whichever one chose the chat mods] didn't think she was fit to take on the challenge of being a chat mod, then they wouldn't have made her one.

I just thought I would point that out. You could even consider this whole scenario an attack on her ability to spell [or intelligence however he meant it is unsure], he could have also been harassing her. Only thing I see on that Screenshot is that he's saying she's not speaking English. Then he comes on the forum and continues to insult her spelling. Just because she can't spell the best does not mean she is unfit for being a chat mod. I however to agree with Mumblee, just because he is inactive does not mean he forgets the rules. However he is going on the word of Rick (not saying it's false in anyway), and he's going from a out of context screenshot. If Rick went over the chat logs, and checked the whole conversation then ultimately he has all the proof. But not once did he say Barbie Girl was corrupt.

You just happened to push her at the wrong time. She had just muted Mata_rindo and then you decided to undermine her authority by picking on her English.

the only thing that got you muted was your timing, if you said what you said in a different context then you would not have been muted.

If his context wasn't clear it is very possible that Barbie Girl might have thought it was meant in another way. Meaning if anything a mistake was made. It's not corruption.

Just a thought.

I am not sure who said that Barby was Bipolar but that is a very serious medical condition. Not one to use to defame someones character.  There is no proof of said claim either. Did Barby happen to mention she was Bipolar? I have not seen it. Even if she was that is still not on topic and would not effect  in any way how she chat moderates. Someone with Bipolar CAN live a perfectly normal life with medication. That is not cool at all.

I see no one in here saying she is Bipolar. SHE herself did say as well as others that she has http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyslexia . That is  a big difference.

My complaint is she is young. She can not work at McDonalds yet she can chat moderate Faldon. She lacks any real world experience. Her post even in this thread are not even well thought out. Yet she can make clear decisive decisions in Fladon?

In chat I was stating my opinion based on a fact. For that due to lack of judgment skills I was muted. There was no harassing in the chat.

As said it was a mistake that was made. One that someone with some real world experience might not have made.

I would hate to have to ask this.. but is it possible for me to be given quick Moderator privileges so I can delete every one of these darn 'He Said, She Said' posts?  Players dont make the decision, its handed to the GM in question to make that decision - whether its bad, or good.. it was made, and acted upon.  There are more professional ways to argue a case like this, and spamming the forums every single day with a new issue is not the way to do it.

This crowd sickens me, well, not ALL of it - but every time I log into Faldon I would mute half of you for the slang and harassment that goes on with the Faldon chat - you should all be ashamed of yourselves.

Can we just wipe chat mods from the game already? Every time I log on Faldon, or these forums. It's always a "Chat Mod Abuse" thread, or something along the lines of that. There are much more productive ways to be spending the energy that is wasted upon these matters.

I see no purpose, other than weeding out possible Moderator material with this system, but even if that were the case. It has proven that most of these people should never be near any tool, that makes them above a mortal player in this current mess.

I have seen first hand, favoritism, abuse, bribery, threats ect.

No I'm not going to SS every issue, a lot of good that does from the current topics.


GMs should not be "slapping on the wrist" of these players. They are supposed to be "helping" the game, not driving people away by being idiots.

Fix this soon before too many people get a bad taste in their mouth and leave.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. There is a small community here that keep this game alive. Lets not upset that balance too bad until you find a way to replenish your losses.
