Even more depressing is that fact that Zer seems to have died, and the last time it crashed it was down for ~1 month... I have an addiction, and there's not a rehab for it. Somebody get it back online NOW lol

it was the biggest earth quake i've ever seen in faldon! i got scared because i was on a quest to defeat an invincible demon, threatening to destroy midgard but i couldn't kill him. maybe if we're lucky, it was only mid that got destroyed...

Hmmmmmm, client still hasn't actually lost connection to the server... Either that or it's just stopped crashing with a popup to let you know you've been DC'd. On a side note, this has gotta be the longest lasting egate I've ever seen

Frosty, it did have something to do with your request 
. I didn't expect the server to crash, and I forgot about how easy it can happen. Sadly, it didn't actually crash completely. If it does that, it will restart. I used to have a script to restart the server using that method. Anyhow, PLEASE do not go near that vendor if it comes up, I can and will fix it, and it wont happen again.
Let me explain: I was trying to be careful, because I don't know the state of the server. So I wanted to test it out before I released the change. So, I put a number much larger than ever needed in hopes of keeping players from touching it until I was ready. If I had been smart, and thought about it possibly crashing, I would have simply made it GM-only for 5 minutes. Sad stuff .
I did send Zer and e-mail, let's hope he gets it and fixes this for us.
