Topic: Login screen crash

I've already disabled hardware and direct 3d, ran in xp compatability and it ran just fine earlier today. My computer has been acting like an asshole files keep going missing or get moved. I had to reinstall faldon and now all it does is crash with no error message. Any ideas?

What OS and at what point is it crashing?
