Topic: Advertising this game?
Has anyone actually considered advertising this game via Facebook or something? I see countless ads for Facebook games all the time, I see no reason why the same couldn't work for Faldon if done right...

faldon is pretty hardcore underground. even people who would be interested in playing, do not have a chance of finding this game

The faldon facebook page was created by Veega and it isn't really advertised, it's more on the lines of another forum like this where every now n then someone posts some random shit.

Well, considering most of us who play already pay, why don't we consider some sort of group (crowdfund-esque) advertising campaign?
If you're paying $5 a month for a game then surely an extra $2 to actually enjoy it isn't too unreasonable. If you want to keep on paying $5 for an empty, lonely game then ignore this post 
$2 from each player per month would equate to enough money to run a reasonable ad campaign either through Google or Facebook as OP mentioned.

There are still people playing and the game is not dead and buried yet, so what's with the defeatist attitude? If you want to leave the community then that's your decision but it's not necessarily representative of the overall community to say 'it's done for'.

and the game still has no more than 10 unique ips on at a time that are 80% afk, if that isn't considered dead on a "mmo" than i don't know what is lol.

Why have you been playing a game that's been 'dead' for over 3 years then? I don't get it. The game's activity levels fluctuate like crazy as 'new' oldies come back and leave. Sure it's not exactly an easy task to restore Faldon to its glory days but it's made even harder when there is such an air of negativity within the community. Either accept that the game is quiet and enjoy it for what it is or leave already.
