Topic: Doomed Talisman ATTN James

So today I had Violentj having issues with random firewall, pcloud, and curse image going off. So i went in and tested with him and found that his doomed Talisman isnt actually shooting lightning like it should. However its randomly hitting him with all that i posted above.

Instead of getting a damage perk to the mob its hitting the player instead of the mob. Hes getting Violentj hits Violentj dmg packets. and its doing actual dmg to him as well. I think this is similar to what i was going through in pit and sewers except i wasnt wearing a doomed tally then.

This is specifically happening in and outside dire lethe and bengal beach.

this def needs to be looked at on the next update. thanks!

This is actually the expected behavior for the doomed talisman. He needs to repair it. The doomed talisman gives you perks, if you treat it well. If the dura suffers too much it will try to kill you.

interesting. i never knew that lol. i guess ive never killed the dura on it either. how much dura loss does it take before it starts doing this?

You can not currently repair Doom Talis unless u have it in a legacy ring slot still. So until this is fixed, either don't use it or deal with it?
Maybe A GM can fix it for now?

Side note, I did not think this was worth pursuing, but maybe worth mentioning, I had a doom tali equipped, and randomly noticed it stopped working properly around a week ago. I checked and it said I had a Wiz tali equipped. Is there a usage cap? How did this happen? I have like 6 doom talis, so its not a huge deal, and not trying to get a free one. It was my best one, which is irritating, but not anything special like %, just all positive adds on stats... But anyway, If it were possible id like to have it back, or at least know the story on how it changed...

I fixed Nodlaf, he can repair amulets now.
