Topic: New Client Bank and Inventory UI
I would like to suggest some quality of life changes for the newer UI. This would also be included to any updates to any GUI changes for these two in the future if they were to occur.
When moving items from the bank to the inventory, it is really slow and clunky. This could almost be considered a bug, because the old client handled this a bit better but my suggestion will make new client even better than the old one.
1. When moving items from the bank, you must currently drag them over essentially... then when u drop in the inventory it just puts it in first open slot with room.
The old client you would click the item u wanted to withdraw, and it put it in first open slot with room. So we lost a bit of ease of use there. On top of it, you cant just place the item where you want.
I would suggest to change it to the old way. It was just much more convenient to quickly click all the items u want you of your bank. Then you can organize from the inventory.
So this would change this part exactly like how it was before.
2. Programing in equipped items to allow them to be banked or dragged on from bank.
This could conflict with the previous suggestion, however, it would be a fair trade. It would just remove single click withdraw.
But Essentially this would allow u to drag equipped items to the bank without having to put them in the inventory first. You would also have to swap out items that are currently being dragged automatically.
A second part of this would be the deposit part. This would not really affect anything else, but it is simply being able to drag items that are equipped directly to the bank window.
3. I need to start a new thread for this, but More Bank Slots!
For citizens, there should be a much higher limit for bank slots. It is, and simply has never been enough.
Why worry and focus on this?
Well citizens do have more, but it is no where near enough. Other online RPGs I have played have upwards of 700. And this often doesn't feel like enough. For us, with a new UI of course, we should probably have around 100 per character. Maybe with the possibility to add more later.
So currently to get more bank slots, you must log a different charterer. Okay, no big deal... at first.
I personally have over 100 characters that I use for bank slots. So this is at least 12 accounts made, essentially for no reason. Which then fills the server storage with accounts that just don't need to be made. Along with my excel sheet I use to keep track of Spell books, random items, etc...
Thank you for reading and listening.
