Improved the lag for Antimagic, Shield, and other similar spells.
Improved the lag on stat updates when casting spells.
Improved the lag on stat updates when taking damage.
If a map file were erased somehow, that map never recovered by patching. Now it does.
- Thanks to many people for reporting this bug!
Moved where Town Portals go for some towns.
Projectiles will no longer hit you while your character is dead.
- Thanks to Mr Spy for reporting this bug!
Screenshots are now handled by a separate thread. They no longer freeze the game.
Screenshots are now saved in a Faldon subdirectory underneath My Pictures.
Some characters showed as having no password when they in fact did have one.
- Thanks to ExisT for reporting this bug!
The server's networking code is now Linux-native (libevent) instead of running through Wine.

Re: 2024/9/26 Update

I've spent a lot of time complaining when updates cause negative experiences. I wanted to take a moment to say the last two updates have been amazing. Great work.

Out of retirement... for now.

Re: 2024/9/26 Update

Also thank you for the update! And thanks for continuing to doing steady work on the game.

I am not sure if its a coincidence, but I have noticed you have been updating and resetting the server on Thursdays with the updates, which I sorta recommended. I think this has been helping the community and hopefully helping you with noticing issues and having a week "testing" period of updates, bug testing, etc...  So big thanks for doing that! The week of no changes helps players figure out bugs without getting things too blended into other updates.

If you ever have specific points of interest, please feel free to ask us, im sure most of us are happy to help.
