Uuhm... as far as I am aware, women dont randomly pick a sperm donor. And if they did the odds it being a close relative should be pretty darn small. Also I would reckon you could check the ancestry. (if it's not anonymous) Another thing to take into account is it does happen every now and then that people who have a relationship or even are engaged find out they are distant cousins or something. It is not the end of the world you know... inbreeding happens, though maybe not as much as it did in the past.
On a final note... I really disagree with how you say having your eggs fertilized with a man's sperm is the same as having sexual intercourse with that person. That is quite simply put, untrue.
