hm I know of a site with over 10000 Torrents, which when my internet is up on my computer ill hand out the url. Its farly funny how companys try to get them to remove there links by sueing, they all fail, since where the server is located its legal to that kind of thing.
like kazaa
but actually many torrent sites arent in weird banana republics, but these sites dont really host the illegal data themselves. Just the torrent files. And sometimes, not even that. Some are just a search service. Elitetorrents got raided by the FBI I believe after Star Wars III came out and it was among other sites, leaked to that site.
Funny thing is for example torrentspy (good site for movies/series btw, not so good for anime) which has now taken to blocking certain search terms...
what it means is if you type 'star wars' it will not give you any results but display and MPIAA (or whatever the acronym was) thingy saying that search term is not allowed. So what you do then is you type 'Star Sith' or 'Revenge Wars' or something of the sort and you get a nice list of torrents The torrents are still there, just the most obvious access routes were closed off... which is fine by me What do idiots needs illegal warez for anyway? ;-)
Fuck torrents.
DC++ is 100 times better.
www.isohunt.com is also decent
Although Torrentspy is the best ive found so far.
Torrentreactor.net is alright too.
I saw something interesting the other day. It seems some unscrupulous companies are flooding torrents with adware and spyware recently. Almost as bad as the people who post viruses and such.
Oh my personal favourite is when you download a 2gb torrent and then find out it needs a password to view
Some can be cracked easily but its still an annoyance.

Seems like a tactic worthy of Dogbert. Anywho, I myself havent noticed any adware shiz in my torrents yet. But then again, 90% of what I download are video files (anime, movies, documentaries, series for my sis) so I guess that's less likely to have adware strewn about it.
As far as software goes, I have downloaded some stuff off some highly suspicious/shady site,s but no probs so far. Now I got DVD authoring software thats so fancy I dont understand it, mpeg2 encoding thats 5 times faster than the 30-day limited crap I was using before, Lego Star Wars (it rocks, seriously) and GTA: SA. Oh, and I downloaded adaware through a torrent, would be kinda ironic if that had adware tagged along with it wouldnt it?
oh btw Mum...
*giggle*
LoL Mumblee.....*giggle* Indeed
Yea thats the one I use.
Is Piratebay in English yet.....
Yes and now you can select the language you want.
There member list is full so it wont let new people sign up to the site
...Dont suppose you want to share your login details ...
This is a torrent-sites sharing thread now? Oh well, these are my favorites, some mightve been mentioned already.

Of course, for highly specific stuff you might need to find less mainstream torrent sites, I remember what a pain it was when my torrentsite for Pokemon episodes went down. (uchiha-clan.net:6969/ or something)
For really rare stuff that isnt too popular, torrents arent too great though. People generally dont keep torrents running if noone is downloading atm. In other sharing thingies the file only needs to be 'available' which is a lot more doable. No way I'll seed all of my anime at once, that just wouldnt work. But I have no trouble serving it to ppl on an IRC f-serv with a couple of send slots.
Why do I always talk this much?
Hehe i talked to some guy on a Torrent IRC channel and he lives close by...wanted to meet up to exchance torrents instead of downloading them....
I passed......
I once met up with a guy from IRC. I gave him 16 DVDs. Then later we met againa nd he gave them back, all of the DVDs were filled with Pokemon episodes. (about 25 eps per DVD, hehehe)
Dude that's awesome!
I always wanted to watch those pokemon episodes but now all the old ones (the good ones) never come on (I don't think)
Well, my contact info is no secret. Not sure how fast itd be though, best-case scenario I can give 100 kB/s but theres also plenty ppl who only manage to pull like 20 from me.
