Re: Question about external hard drives

An external HDD is effectively an Internal HDD in a case.

There is no difference that im aware of between the 2 hard drives.

XTTZ try a place called "MSY" they are in umm near Chadstone shopping centre and also in pascoe vale.

They have arguably the cheapest computer part prices in melbourne.

Be prepared to wait though cause normally they have at least 10 people lined up  lol

They also have a dodgey website www.msy.com.au

Cool, thanks. Did you google this or do you live in Melbourne too?

Re: Question about external hard drives

Im in Melbourne.

After you go to MSY the other places are just a joke.

I'm opening up a shop that sells 13" rulers just so Fireborn stops complaining.

Re: Question about external hard drives

I see, haha.

By the way, am I blind or is there no external hard drives on their parts list.

Re: Question about external hard drives

They only have Maxtor external drives that i can see.

But what they DO have is

External Case -$70
Western Digital 80gb HDD-$68
or 120 is $94

They might charge you $5 to put it together.

So for an 80gb external drive you would pay $138
or for a 120gb external you pay $164

Although they are specific items so might need to call ahead and hope for an answer.

Re: Question about external hard drives

Maxtor “One Touch” USB2.0/1394 160G External Hard Disk Drive $250 “HOT”

This is only 5 dollars cheaper than what I just saw in another place.

Yeah, there are a few things I suck. Nothing of the human male anatomy, however.
