Topic: Client Connection Failure

Recently every time I have tried to open the client and just after clicking *play* and my screen goes black as if to the log in screen, it closes and returned to my desktop. I have also noticed I am un-able to connect to the chat client. Reasonable and Helpful suggestions are appreciated..

Find the Post for Lothar's Patch Bypasser...or if you dont want that.

Open up Faldon and before clicking play go to:

Options-Sockets-Connect on Alternate Port

Then click OK and click Play

I'm opening up a shop that sells 13" rulers just so Fireborn stops complaining.

Yeah, it sounds like you're having issues with your firewall or routing.

It is neither a problem with firewall nor router. The servers mainport was
down. It happens once and a while, it is all back up now.

If you download that it will auto pick for you a running port, however it is
a patch bypasser, so if there is patching it isn't so great to use. Yet, on
a normal basis you have nothing to worry about there.
