Okkerville River is okay. I have Black Sheep Boy and Stars Too Small To Use. I've listen to them both like twice....It's kinda just like another saddle creek sounding indie band. Oh, and what's up with that sticker on their cd compairing them to NMH's airplane over the sea
Suicide - Speed Queen
Okkervil River is one of my absolute favorite bands of the last 5 years. In my opinion, uncomparable to Saddle Creek bands both in sound and quality. The only thing off Saddle Creek I can even get into anymore if The Faint. And I've seen them live a handful of times, and it's still it's of my favorite live shows. They always outplay whoever they're touring with, i.e. Decemberists or something.
