Topic: Players cannot take it anymore/ Scribers on Strike

Ok, this is going out of control, Lak the selfish rude GM has decided to take over Faldon (Lak if your reading this, face it, you are abusing ur GM power, you are nothing but rude and sad, all you do is insult players and ruining this game), this game is already dead, but he think its not enough, decided to totally destroy it.

So wht is the problem now? He now took away the NPCs who sell the Blank Books. But why are we moaning again? Because nowadays Scribers barely make any money out of scribing, and really we have to buy inks and feather, is hardly making any money, and yea now the blank books npc are gone, means that we have to actually go and Lumberjack and then make books, is it worth it for us scribers? Sorry no, I don't think so, we are not wasting our time to chop wood/make books when we are not even making any profit out of it. Anyway, we are going on strike, end of story.

I think it's been enough topics complaining about Lakitu, look at it this way at least he is doing something.

If I got this right, he made an NPC that buys books, right? So what's the problem you can make money on selling blank books, use that money to buy ink, and use some of the books for scribing. Easy as cake.

Do you have any idea how boring LJing is? We dont want the last remaining players to commit suicide yikes
The idea in itself is good tho, but it just wont work with Faldon as it is now.

I think theres enough topics of YOU steffen always standing up for every GM, even thought they actually did something stupid.
What is your intention? What do you hope to succed? A M status, perhaps GM? Is that worth your soul?

- And yea.. This is like totally stupid.. Theres no spells at all on market now.. It's all blank Lmao.. We need BLANKS BACK !

not worth scribing no more, as scribers we were luckey to get 30gp for are spells on the market. So why would we lj to make books then scribe them just to make 30gp.Id rather lj make books and sell to the npc for 75gp.Scribers will make more gp selling blank books. As there is no limit on how many books you can sell and the npc does not run out of gp so we can make 10k a hour. So why scribe?

Re: Players cannot take it anymore/ Scribers on Strike

In sight of a lot of recent complaints I've decided to take the following action: Nargis now buys blank books for 45gp, this is less than they were previously sold for, secondly I will not be putting blank books back on Dashiva because that was inevitably bad for Carpentry. Now, scribes can buy blank books from noobs if they really need them, for the same price or just a little more than the noobs could sell them to Nargis. Hopefully this helps out the current situation.

as far as i remember when i was leveling my scribe i made a lj along with it, couse that was just cheaper.. i mean the cost of books was just to expencive if u try to get like gm scribbery.. and if u  dont want to buy books, buy  logs or wood..

You ever think that it's not the books, but the fact that nobody buys most books because there's almost no new players coming in?
