Okay, I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering... but what is set to happen for this year's Christmas Event?
Hoping there will be something for those of us who missed Halloween Event...

well since Hween gave so many rares, i doubt there will be a Christmas event, and if there is, we'll prolly get Santa Hats

Why wouldn't there be a Christmas event. These events bring people back to the game renewing their account for a chance of rares. Even if these people only come back for a month, that is still more money to the game.
It would honestly be stupid for Faldon not to have an event for Christmas. However I've seen my share of stupid things around though.

faldon has always had a xmas event, cept the xmas in 2008, but the gms made up for that by throwing an event in march i think ?
anyhow my point is, im pretty sure the tradition will live on

You know that it's possible to have an event without giving away rare items, right? I'd even venture to say it's possible to have a compelling event without screwing up the economy with freebies.
