Topic: Suggestion for a player comand

Mabey a command to clear the dead bodys from the screen after you camp the one spawn for awhile it becomes difficult to target monsters through all the dead bodys

The corpses are client sided and cannot be magically cleared by the server. If you know how to do it you could use F9 to clear the corpses on your screen.

I think he was asking for a client side option, not a server side one.  Maybe the F9 thing could be better documented?

Using the map editor works yes, And i know it's client side but i was more referring to a command that works client side, if opening the map editor clears them then there exists a function to do it just need to be implemented in a client side command

How come items can disappear every 7mins but corpses cant?

Because that is server sided bodys however are not

Well the problem with F9 is that it gives access to the map editor aswell. Though I'm going to try to rewrite the procedure that opens the map editor and just make it reload the current map which should have the desired effect of clearing the corpses.

Couldent you just add a check for the mapping gm access level if less than required then reload the map otherwise open the editor?

For anyone else who's interested, client_corpses.exe. Use that to replace your current client and launch with a patchbypasser. This client makes F5 reload your current map (and with it it'll clear corpses).

Well it's not anything official, I don't have the source for the current client (and neither does Zer lol). I just modified the exisiting hotkey functionality behind F5 so that it calls the procedure which loads the map. In the new client corpses will just fade away after some time.
