This has been an  issue for years.....learn the steps to prevent it...there is nothing any M/GM can do about it.....find a secure place to do trades....END TOPIC

I know, but in recent months it has gotten worse, and with this topic people can avoid trades with these people and try to be less stolen.

this has been a topic before....and like recently stated...there is nothing more that can be done aside from being careful....trade in a safe spot....watch your trade window carefully to see if any other names appear other than the person you're trading with....and if someone constantly keeps trying to trade....type ignore <playername> just like you would if you were ignoring someone in chat.  They won't be able to trade with you.

if you do what i just said...you will avoid trade scams.....so yes, i would hope the BRs do that....if they can't understand me....then you translate it for them....a list of people is only good for so long.....it's easy to create a new character....so instead of a constant list of people who attempt or succeed in scamming just do what i said and you'll be safe..

well  the help and advice is in the above comments....do as it says and that will avoid your trade scams....and always remember....common sense isn't a skill that is learned in faldon.....if you think they're a scammer and they sound like a scammer....odds are...they're going to make an attempt to scam you....think before you act.   Or find a middle man.....Hemp services has always offered middle man duties since  before the first br entered the game.

Look at that, just yesterday jo~ jo was stolen by maldozo, we think with me, the guy spends the money to help a person and himself, and these noob steal if he continues this way is not going to play (this is one of the reasons few people playing).
Gms, if you have read this, please take a decision with them, is absurd what they are doing.
Maldozo stole a guy who sold me that C never stole, my opinion is: If you do not have to return the money, take away the C or ban the account.
I know what I talking about here will not do anything, this game is 10 years old and never events they anything, what will happen now?
Please take a decision, because it is not going to play a game that 80% of the players steal. Faldon is a great game, but with these people, it had become a hell.

did someone steal Maldozo or did Maldozo steal a account?

Again, I can't help but stress the fact that nobody has just been flat out hacked, they either shared their account info or accepted files from a player without proper virus protection and got their account stolen. The reason why GMs cannot do anything is because you are warned if you read around : DO NOT SHARE YOUR ACCOUNT NAME OR PASSWORD. I got my account stolen before (my mortal) and was lucky enough to get it back and get all my account stuff changed. Learned my lesson right there and then even the people you're closest to will eventually try to steal your stuff in a game. I'd say when you trade or even think about letting somebody log your account; it's much safer just to assume that everybody is out to get you or scam you in some way shape or form so take some precautions as hempz mentioned.
As far as trade bugging and scamming; its been going on for years. If the trade system worked in a more logical and secure manner than it's current state then that wouldn't happen. Gms can and usually WILL middle man in regular trades; just as so long as there is no USD involvement because regardless we cannot stop somebody from scamming in a USD trade.
