Can we buy a new server for Faldon?

As everyone is probably well aware, the lag issues on the server are quite terrible, and has been for over 10 years.
The last server reset seemed to help a lot at first, but quickly went back to how it was in about 24 hours getting progressively worse. When everyone is getting lag consistently for 5-10 seconds before the server responds, it dose make the game un-playable. Leveling gets you killed easily. So safe skilling is currently the only thing to do reliably.

I know there was talks about sticking in a new OS drive, and I would like to see that happen. I am not confident it will fix all the problems.

I remember days long ago where lag was a rare thing, and then slowly over time things got worse. During the years of neglect, the server was so behind, that the "New Faldon Day" Birds chirping, caterpillars, etc... notification at 12AM Eastern time was hours behind. And I watched it slowly, day by day, move almost a minute behind each day like a clock with a dying battery.

It would be nice to get some fresher hardware with an SSD and fresh RAM. Does it need all this? Probably not today, maybe some day later. But it would at least remove any likelihood of hardware being an issue for a long time.

So what do we need to do to get this fixed? How can we help?
