Topic: Faldon Day Clock

Currently when you open your settings menu, there's a clock that displays your local system time (redundant, we have the clock on our computer already). What we don't have is a clock that tracks Faldon time. I think this clock would be much more useful if it displayed the Faldon time. This function is used for a ton of features in the game and we as players are coming up with creative ways to track the faldon time, but this should just be part of the GUI.

Agreed. I don't remember if it was you Mechanic, but someone was suggesting this in game recently. It would be nice to integrate a GUI component that showed the time in a stylized way.

It would be amazing, currently running a chat gpt python script that has a pop up every 48 minutes 27 seconds that I have to sync everytime I open it  neutral

Re: Faldon Day Clock

I've pondered changing the Faldon day to 47 minutes 20.55 seconds.

Heh. Is that to make a nice conversion to real life time or some programmatic reason?

Clever, the average number of days in a month is ~30.42 (365/12). 47 minute 20.55 second days would result in ~30.42 Faldon days  per real life calendar day.

The problem is Leap years, there's actually an average of 365.25 days a year. So, 365.25/12 = 30.44 is the actual number of days in the average month.  To get to that, we need 47 minute 18.37 Faldon days smile
